My Night @ Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School.

I was over the moon excited months ago when I was asked to pose for Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School East Bay. Then venue problems ensued and it looked like it wasn't going to happen anymore. Dr. Sketchy's SF decided to take on the event instead and saved the day!

Was I nervous about posing for a room full of artist-strangers while eight months pregnant? A little, but I've been dying to do one of these for a couple years now (most of my friends have had the pleasure and raved about how fun it was), so I wasn't going to let a little, er, puffiness dissuade me. No, sir.  Couldn't be happier I did it. The other, also very pregnant, girl and I took turns which made it a lot easier physically. I also tried to choose poses that I could keep comfortably for long periods of time. The last pose we did was for a twenty minute stretch. I'm very impressed that people can do several of those, even in a non-pregnant state.

Slowly the sketches and paintings are started to pop up online. They are so beautiful. Also, Johnny was on hand to snap lots of pictures of us while we got our pinup pose on. It's not easy to get cute preggy photos, so I'm glad he's been there to capture what is most definitely my last (and favorite) pregnancy.
